Who we are:
MEAO is Ohio’s first and only statewide engineering association dedicated to addressing municipal issues, engaging fellow engineers, and impacting federal and state policies, programming, and legislation.
Purpose:
MEAO was created to give municipal engineers a voice before the legislature and an opportunity to advocate for or against policies that may impact engineering and public works in their communities. MEAO was constructed for municipal engineers, by municipal engineers to have an organization unlike no other engineering group in Ohio.
Why Join?
The association holds meetings and conferences to allow members to build professional relationships, share best practices, and to obtain professional development hours. Our members benefit from access to OML legislative staff, early notice of upcoming funding opportunities, and direct access to other government agencies.
"We hope you will join the Municipal Engineers Association of Ohio and take advantage of the networking, educational and advocacy opportunities you can access by becoming a member."
