2020 Newly Elected Council Training 

We appreciate your patience in these unprecedented times as we’ve been trying to find the best way to move forward with our trainings and conferences.  We have decided to make the remaining council training seminars into an interactive webinar. This webinar will take place on Wednesday June 24, 2020 from 9:00am-4:30pm with a lunch break in the afternoon. For anyone who cannot participate in this webinar the day of due to work conflicts or other obligations, there will be a recording of the entire webinar available to all registrants to watch at a later date. On Friday June 19, all registrants will receive the materials for the webinar and the instructions on how to access the webinar to the email address that was provided during registration. Feel free to print out the PowerPoints and download the Municipal Government in Ohio book as a future reference guide. If you have any questions regarding this information, please call the office at 614-221-4349 so that we can answer your questions before the day of the webinar.

Registration and Cancellation: Online registration for this webinar is now open until Friday June, 19 for anyone that would like to participate. The cost is $75.00 for OML members or $125.00 for non-members, which can be paid by check or credit card. If you registered for this training and no longer wish to participate, please select the cancel option in the email we sent to all registrants by Friday June 19, 2020. Any cancellations made after this time will not receive a refund.

As in the past during even numbered years the OML conducts seminars for newly elected council members after the municipal election year.  If “veteran” members of council or municipal officials wish to attend, we also welcome them.
