Ohio Municipal League 62 nd Annual Conference – September 26-27, 2013

Please read the following carefully- a few things have changed from previous years!

The 62 nd Annual Ohio Municipal League Conference and Exhibit Show is fast approaching. This year the conference will be held at the Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square. The conference will be held September 26-27 with one day dedicated to our exhibit show. That day will be Thursday, September 26 th.



We once again have facilities to invite vendors to join us at our conference as part of our product exhibit. Setup for the exhibits will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25 th. The exhibit area will be secured Wednesday evening by private security provided by the League. The show officially will open at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26 th with a continental breakfast and end with a reception for all of our conference attendees and exhibitors. Exhibits must remain intact until the closing of the show at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 th.No security will be available after the closing of the show.

In addition to the registration and the Thursday continental breakfast and reception, the League will feature dessert and coffee at 1:15 p.m. in the exhibit area and allow time between sessions for delegates to walk through.

As always, we will assign spaces on a first come, first serve basis. The sooner we receive your application for space and deposit, the better the chance that you will be assigned your preferred space at the show.

All in all, I think you will agree this year's show should be a great opportunity for your firm to enhance its presence in one of the nation's top municipal markets. The cost for this year's show is $400.00 per booth. Parking is included. That price entitles you to your space, draped backdrop, a draped 2' x 6' display table and a 7"x 44" two-line identification sign. Additionally, your firm's name will be prominently listed in the Annual Conference Program. As an exhibitor, you also are entitled to eight OML conference exhibitor registrations for your representatives, excluding special events and meal functions which can be purchased separately. This year’s cost is reduced due to the space allotted being smaller than past sessions. We can only accommodate tabletop displays to do space restrictions!

All additional arrangements (carpeting for inside booth, phone lines, chairs, extra furnishings, etc.) will be handled through the George Fern Company, who will contact you shortly after we receive your contract for space reservation.

Electric is handled through the hotel who assesses a $30 extra charge. If you need electrical, you cannot choose booth numbers 1-6 (against the windows), and you need to notify the OML (see contract)

Exhibits, general sessions and workshop sessions will all be held at The Sheraton Hotel at Capitol Square, 75 E. State Street, Columbus Ohio. You will need to make hotel reservations by calling : 614-365-4500

A special room rate is available for conference attendees. The rate is $94 (single/double). The cut-off date is 9/4/2013. Parking will be free for all attendees to the conference, whether you are staying at the hotel or driving in for the day, however you MUST valet park at the hotel in order to get the free parking.
